The Flow State
What? ⏳
The flow state is a state in which you are entirely focused and immersed in something, beyond the point of distraction. You are invested in the task at hand, and you may lose a sense of time, self-consciousness, and anything that doesn’t have to do with the task at hand.
Many people describe this state as being ‘in the zone’; they have total focus and nothing can take them out of it. This term is something that athletes tend to use quite often.
Being able to enter into the flow state is something massively important for your productivity.
Being in this state allows you to work, entirely undistracted, and derive a large sense of enjoyment from the activities you’re doing.
