What is a Reading Slump? ❔
In some dramatic words, reading slumps are the absolute enemy of any avid reader. They are nightmares, ones that run onto daily life. They plague us, taking us away from literature, causing something similar to great sadness and woe.
In other words, a reading slump is when you want to read, but picking up a book, reading the pages, it just doesn’t interest you. You cannot follow on with the words, they don’t process in your brain, and you find yourself having to go back and reread it, again and again, with no luck.
It’s when your brain fails to comprehend the text, as if you were deciphering morse code, or the Harappan language.
