Today’s Daily Stoic Meditation outlines how you must tackle obstacles head on. (republished from my 2022 article)
There is no time for complaints, and no time to make things worse.
Seize the adversity and bring it down.

“How does it help, my husband, to make misfortune heavier by complaining about it? This is more fit for a king — to seize your adversities head on. The more precarious his situation, the more imminent his fall from power, the more firmly he should be resolved to stand and fight. It isn’t manly to retreat from fortune.”

No Time
When faced with great adversities, you cannot afford to waste time.
You cannot afford to waste time when there’s a battle waiting to be fought.
There’s many great time wasters, such as;
- Complaining
- Procrastination
- Waiting (especially till you’re ready)
- Talking (instead of taking action)
Don’t do these things.
You don’t have the time to waste!
