Made For Justice
Focusing on the Daily Stoic Meditation for July 20 — Made For Justice, as outlined by Ryan Holiday in the bestseller 366 Meditations on Wisdom, Perseverance and the Art Of Living.
“The unjust person acts against the gods. For insofar as the nature of the universe made rational creatures for the sake of each other, with an eye toward mutual benefit based on true value and never for harm, anyone breaking nature’s will obviously acts against the oldest of gods.”
— MARCUS AURELIUS, MEDITATIONS, 9.1.1
Everyone is made for justice.
Everyone, no matter who you are or what you do, is made for justice.
Everyone has the deep desire within them to do what is right.
Everyone has the inclination towards being good.
We are all made for justice.

Acting in ways that are just compliments the natural flow of life; acting unfairly goes against the flow of nature, while prioritising being good works with the flow of nature.
If you want to lead a good life — one that is good for both yourself and others — you must live in accordance to nature, and so you must strive for justice.
