Today’s Daily Stoic Meditation outlines that it is always in your best interests to stick with the facts.
Be objective and rational — stick with your first impressions, rather than adding emotional attachments.
“Don’t tell yourself anything more than what the initial impressions report. It’s been reported to you that someone is speaking badly about you. This is the report — the report wasn’t that you’ve been harmed. I see that my son is sick — but not that his life is at risk. So always stay within your first impressions, and don’t add to them in your head — this way nothing can happen to you.”

Stick With Just The Facts
Stick with just the facts.
Do not jump to conclusions.
Do not add emotional attachments.
See things just as they are and stick to it.
Forget Emotional Attachments
Forget emotional attachments.
Forget adding your own stories, past experiences and feelings to events.
When you add your emotions and feelings, it loses all objectivity, and there’s great risks to that!
