What is Self Mastery?

Self mastery is the total mastery of;

Your mind

Your actions

Your craft

If you can completely master these 3 areas of your life, you’ll be able to master yourself — this is the key to living a sustainably happy and healthy life.

Many of the acts of self mastery require you to go against your brain and defy that negative, inner voice within your mind — this is key to the whole philosophy.

Why is Self Mastery Important?

If you want to achieve something great and consistently be a high performer, you need to master yourself.

Without mastering your mind, actions and craft you’ll continuously face barriers that prevent you from achieving the great things that you want in life.

You’ll fall victim to;

  1. Limiting beliefs
  2. Negative mindsets
  3. Wrong perceptions

Your brain is made to keep you in the comfort zone, and without self mastery, you’ll listen to your brain when it tells you to stay comfortable — when it tells you to skip the gym, sleep in late and procrastinate. You’ll consistently avoid hard things, and it is through difficult situations that we grow the most.
