The Good Life Is Anywhere
Focusing on the Daily Stoic Meditation for August 3 — The Good Life Is Anywhere, as outlined by Ryan Holiday in the bestseller 366 Meditations on Wisdom, Perseverance and the Art Of Living.
“At this moment you aren’t on a journey, but wandering about, being driven from place to place, even though what you seek — to live well — is found in all places. Is there any place more full of confusion than the Forum? Yet even there you can live at peace, if needed.”
— SENECA, MORAL LETTERS, 28.5b–6a
The Good Life Is Anywhere
The good life is anywhere.
The good life is right here.
You don’t need luxury mansions, exotic holiday’s or more money to live the good life — you can find peace, love and happiness anywhere.
What is the good life?
To me, the good life is a life of happiness; one where you’re content, when you’re doing work that you love, where you’re growing as a person, and where you’re at peace with things.
The good life will alter from person to person, as we all want different things and we all have different goals. The main thing that everyone wants, as a shared human connection, is happiness.
