What is it? ⁉️
The law of three is a law that encourages you to prioritise the 3 most important things in any given situation.
When it comes to your work, your health, your education, your relationships etc, there’s a lot of stuff you have to do — this can get largely overwhelming, and it’s hard to figure out what is important to prioritise.
In every area of your life, use the law of three; pick the 3 most important things and prioritise those. Everything else is secondary.
How to achieve the law of 3?
- First, ask yourself where you want to be in one year.
Figure out;
- What field you want to work in/what courses you want to study.
- Where you want to live.
- Who you want to be surrounded by.
- What you want your physique and your health to be like.
Identify roughly what you want by this time next year.
This links in closely to your goals; what are your big, long term goals?
2. Second, identify the 3 most important things, in each area of your life, that will help you get where you want to be.
Take a look at every single area of your life — your finances, your business, your studies, your family, your personal health — and identify the 3 most important things that will help you the most.
Find out what things are actually going to help you make progress in your life. Through identifying them, you gain clarity.
3. Third, prioritise the 3 most important things; everything else is secondary.
You have identified those 3 things (in all areas of your life) as those are the things that are going to help you make the most progress.
Dedicate the bulk of your time and energy to these things.
Everything else is secondary.
