it’s supposed to be fall season; scented candles, pumpkin spice lattes and gilmore girls. i spent weeks excited for fall, as to me, fall signifies the start of a new year. 🍂
but the british weather has decided to give us a late summer. temperatures up to 27 degrees, and a lot of sun. more sun than i saw in all of august.
i’m only marginally complaining, as i know the temperature is going to drop, quick, and it’ll be winter in no time. bitter and icy and cruel. this sun is tolerable for a while, especially in anticipation of what’s to come.
i go back to school tomorrow.
i say back to school, but i’m not exactly going back — i’m starting a new school.
sixth form. new school, new people, new subjects.

the first thing to say is that i’m excited.
that’s probably an understatement — i literally won’t shut up about it to my friends. i keep talking about how i can’t wait to go back, how i’m excited to make new friends and how i’ll love my subjects.
so i guess im pretty happy about going back to school. only slightly happy 🙄

school is me.
i love studying, i love walking hallways and going to school libraries (especially cambridge), i love getting involved in my classes, i love reading books and just everything school related. school is integral to who i am, and i love it so much.
