Being a student, writer & an athlete can be a lot to handle at once. The best thing about it, however, is that balancing all of these things is insanely rewarding.
It’s important to note, from the start, that balancing all of these things is possible. Sometimes it’s difficult, and you have to make a lot of sacrifices, but it’s possible.
It can be pretty difficult to stay on top of the things that are important in your life, and finding the correct balance takes time. The correct balance is different for everybody, but it’s crucial that you do find a balance that works for you; this enables you to engage in the things that matter to you, without anything getting out of hand or too overwhelming.
Time management — being able to dedicate time to certain tasks, being disciplined, scheduling etc — is a key factor to staying on top of everything.
Prioritising your tasks, scheduling dedicated and fixed blocks to work on them and staying disciplined in each area of your life ensures that you can get things done, while making the most of your time and living a healthy, happy life.
There’s several different forms of time management, such as time blocking and using a calendar. Furthermore, you can use the Pomodoro technique and prioritise deep work!
